LEGEND WRITES AND YOU MUST READ.
Video content is one of the most amazing ways to engage and interact with your audience, however, it takes more than “shooting” the video in order to develop a good story.
When creating video content, you should consider the genre of video you are creating and who you are creating it for. Understanding your audience is key to writing a great story. For example, women on your website may be interested in how your product functions or how to use it, while men would enjoy seeing a demo.
When it comes to your story, you should know your prevailing facts and your company’s message. Tell your story in an audiovisual way. For instance, if you are talking about a folding bike, you may want to refer to your products or service as a “compact” folding bike or “convenient”, “easy to use and store”, or “travel friendly”.
Also, it is important that you keep in mind that not everyone has heard about your brand, product, or service. You might want to use your video to explain how your product works. E.g. “For example, only one down stroke of the pole is needed to achieve the maximum length, not just two strokes”.
To be more persuasive and to make your story more interesting, make sure you are using visual elements, such as images, illustrations, or graphics. In addition, be sure to add footage of people, places, and things, as well as your employee, clients, and partners. Also, make sure to add images of your product or service. If you need to, you can create a storyboard, use Google’s Slides, photos, drawings, and illustrations. Another option is to create the whole sequence in a report and add photos later.
First of all, it is extremely important to keep your story short. The last thing that anyone wants is to sit through a lengthy video that offers little to no value. Furthermore, don’t just focus on creating a video focused on product features and functionality. You need to captivate your audience by creating content that speaks to people’s emotions.
And the main thing to remember when creating your video is to have a clear, objective and know how to effectively and smoothly make transitions and cuts using key effects.
The video can be anywhere from a couple of seconds to a few minutes long, depending on the story you wish to tell.
Remember that if you are producing a high-quality video that you want your audience to keep watching, it is important to coordinate each of these parts of the video. For instance, selecting the best sound and music, framing the scene, and creating the timing of the scenes to make them increase or decrease in length.
Producing your video can be very time consuming, but it is well worth it because it opens up a dialogue about what you are creating and how you are representing yourself or your services. In addition, it really does take a certain type of person to be able to make a video that people will want to watch, watch it again, and share it with their friends and family.
Look at it this way, if you create a video that will potentially save someone money, then you will have created something that means a lot to them and now you can look them up and say “thanks”. This old saying is very true, and we can’t overstate its importance.
Happy creating !!
