While many search engines are willing to handle different spacing, at times Google does get a little snooty about people using spaces in between words. Adding spaces might not be something you want to do because Google might not like it and your rankings might be affected. So my suggestion would be to keep your spaces as short as possible. You might be referring to widgets which are related to each other and need a space between them. I am also of the opinion that it is best to put the most important word of your phrase first and keep it short. When searching for a keyword phrase, try to target a relevant location and make sure that you are not appearing on a long list of similar websites that are all about the same topic.
